Any third-party software that gives you an advantage the game does not offer is banned, paid or free. That covers ESP, aimbots, recoil scripts, and macro hardware such as Bloody Mouse.

Do not try to dodge a ban. Alt accounts, borrowed accounts and VPNs all count as evasion, and every attempt adds time or makes the ban permanent. Sit it out instead.

1. Every server has its own team size limit, shown as a tag on the server card above.
2. You may switch teams mid-wipe, but before you do you must:
Reset every code lock and key lock.
Destroy your old beds and sleeping bags.
Clear yourself from the tool cupboard.
3. Once you leave a team, you cannot rejoin it for the rest of the wipe.
4. Clans, alliances, factions and slave arrangements are not allowed.
5. Trade only through vending machines and shop fronts.
6. Never let a player from another team inside your base, for any reason.

Trash talk is part of Rust. Slurs, racism, targeted harassment and threats are not. Keep it in the game and off the person.

Blueprints wipe on the first Thursday of every month. Map wipe schedules differ per server, hit the info button on any server card above to see its schedule.

Report them in game with F7 first, which sends us the report along with the demo. Then hop into our Discord and open a ticket with anything else that helps, such as timestamps, clips or the names of other players who saw it.
Admins do not play on any Sunset server. That is the whole point of a non-playing staff team.
Chat moderators are regular players whose job is to answer questions and keep the community clean. They have no gameplay advantage and no access to player data.

On a server with a team limit, no. You cannot hand your base to friends, neighbors or anyone else. What you can do is clear the tool cupboard, pick up your bag and unlock the doors, leaving it open to everyone equally.

Length depends on the severity of what happened and on the record the player already has. A first offense is normally 3 days and a second offense is permanent.
